The Best & Worst Pickup Lines for Dating Apps

Since the majority of the world's population has been quarantined, checking out the dating scene has been limited to apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge. The most common date during quarantined? Video chatting via Zoom. Although dating apps have been popular for quite some time, CNBC reported in May of 2020 that there has been a 20% increase in sent messages in Seattle, San Francisco, and NYC (https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/24/how-singles-are-meeting-up-on-dating-apps-during-the-coronavirus.html). Want to start a conversation but do not know how? Of course you can go with the classic "Hey, what's up?" or "How is your day?," but why not spice it up a bit? Below you can find some of the best and worst conversation starters to use with someone you match with on your chosen dating app.

The Best

Honestly, this conversation starter can be hit or miss, but it definitely seems worth the try. I don't know how the rest of the conversation went, but it seems like they are off to a good start!

I've never seen a conversation started like this, but it is definitely a unique way to learn something about the person you are messaging right off the bat!

Okay this was smooth AF. Everyone loves a good pickup line, and the person receiving the message had no choice but to answer because what the heck does B16 mean?
